Skin tightening is usually something you seek out. Maybe it’s a sought-after treatment at the derm’s office or a moisturizer that purports to lift and tighten sagging skin.

One time you don’t want skin your skin to feel tight though is post-cleanse. Skin issues in peri, such as acne, can lead you to use harsher skin products, like a benzoyl peroxide face wash.
